COACHING STAFF
YGB Football Camp has gathered the best of the best to coach the athletes at this year’s camp. We have gathered professional, former collegiate and former high school athletes to ensure that the campers will have the opportunity to learn valuable skills and lessons from experienced athletes. Below is a preview of some of the coaches lined up for this year’s YGB Football Camp.

Donte Moncrief - Pittsburgh Steelers - Wide Receiver
Drafted 90th overall in the 3rd round of the 2014 NFL Draft. Donte has completed five seasons as a wide receiver in the National Football League. Donte just got drafted to play for the Steelers.
In five seasons, Donte has played in 69 games, has had 200 receptions, 2543 yards and 21 touchdowns. Moncrief holds many receiving records at Ole Miss. Moncrief is from Raleigh, MS and graduated from Raleigh High School. Donte is also a practicing Christian and a great father to his daughters, Malayna and Milah.
Carlos Davis - Former Los Angeles Rams - Defensive Back
Carlos Davis will be joining our camp this year! He is a former defensive back for Ole Miss and the Los Angeles Rams. He will be a great addition to the camp!
Ken Webster - New England Patriots - Defensive back
Ken Webster is a Defensive back for the New England Patriots. He is a new addition to camp and we are thrilled to have him this year!
Jordan Ta’amu - Ole Miss - Quarterback
Jordan is from Pearl City, Hawaii. Before attending Ole Miss, Jordan was the starting quarterback at New Mexico Military. Jordan was the starting Quarterback for the Ole Miss Rebels in 2017 and 2018. As a senior at Ole Miss Jordan broke many passing records. Jordan threw 19 touchdowns and had 3,918 yards in the air. While doing this he was also very accurate completing 63.6% of his passes. Jordan participated in the 2019 NFL Combine, and did very well. Jordan is a practicing Christian, and we are excited to have Jordan joining the YGB Family!
Dawson Knox - Ole Miss - Tight End
Dawson is from Brentwood, Tennessee and played his high school football at Brentwood Academy. Dawson “walked on” the Ole Miss football team in 2016 and played in six games as a freshman. Knox was a major contributor to the Ole Miss offense; in the run game and pass game. While at Ole Miss, Dawson saw action in 28 games, was a Mackey Award Watch List nominee and participated in the 2019 NFL Combine. Dawson majored in Managerial Finance while at Ole Miss, receiving many academic honors. Dawson, along with other coaches on staff is a Christian and understands the importance of having a relationship with Christ. We are excited to have Dawson join the YGB Family!
Mike Hilton - Pittsburgh Steelers - Defensive Back
On December 14, 2016 the Pittsburgh Steelers signed Hilton to their team. Mike made his NFL debut September 10, 2017 and has not looked back. Hilton is an integral part of the Steelers defense and had an incredible 2017 and 2018 season playing in 31 games with 85 solo tackles, 25 assists, 5 sacks, and 3 interceptions. Offenses often throw away from Mike to avoid a pass breakup from this stellar defensive back. Mike Hilton started at every position in the defensive backfield during his career at Ole Miss. Mike is a four year letterman and was a major contributor to the Landshark defense at Ole Miss. Mike finished with 226 total tackles and 6 interceptions as a Rebel football player. As a senior Mike was named All-SEC second team, Jim Thrope Award semifinalist, named Ole Miss Most Valuable Senior by the Jackson Touchdown Club and started 5 games at strong safety and 5 games at huskie. Early in the season he played corner for the Rebels. Mike Hilton is from Fayetteville, GA and graduated from Sandy Creek High School. In the spring of 2015 Mike received the Chucky Mullins Courage Award. Hilton is also a practicing Christian.
Fun Fact about Mike: Mike is scared of heights.
Tevin Jones - Pittsburgh Steelers - Wide Receiver
Tevin Jones is a new addition to camp this year. Tevin is a Wide Receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers and we are thrilled to have him!
Mike Espy - Redskins (2006-2009) - Wide Receiver
Mike Espy is a former American football wide receiver. He was originally signed by the Washington Redskins as an undrafted free agent in 2006. He played college football at Mississippi and was a main contributor the Rebels receiving core. Mike now is a General Manager and Strength and Conditioning/Speed Coach at D1 Jackson, D1 Sports Training. Mike enjoys working with athletes of all ages and understands the importance of giving back to the youth and the community.
Trae Elston - Philadelphia Eagles - Defensive Back
Trae Elston was originally signed by the New Orleans Saints, but has played for the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills as well. Trae had shoulder surgery to start the 2018 season and is rehabbing to make a strong comeback. Elston was a dominate force while being in Oxford. As a Rebel, Trae played in 50 games, recorded 252 total tackles, 2 forced fumbles, 4 fumble recoveries and 5 interceptions for 203 yards. Trae was voted All American First Team and All SEC First Team as a senior while helping the Rebels win the Sugar Bowl. Trae is from Oxford, Alabama and was highly recruited out of high school. Trae is training and working out in Oxford at Ole Miss during the off-season. Elston is also a practicing Christian.

Cody Core - Cincinnati Bengals - Wide Receiver
Cody Core has finished up another year of being a wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals. Core was drafted 199th overall in the 6th round to the Cincinnati Bengals. He has played 3 seasons with the Bengals playing in 22 games at wide receiver and making a huge impact on their special teams units. Cody was a standout wide receiver for the Ole Miss Rebels while he was in Oxford. Core is a 4 year letterman and has seen action in every game while being a Rebel. At the end of his junior season Cody was tied for 10th in the SEC and was 1st on the team with 6 receiving TDs. As a senior Cody had 37 receptions, 644 receiving yards and 4 touchdowns. Cody also contributed majorly on the special teams units helping the Rebels control the field position game. Core is from Auburn, Alabama and was an excellent student while at Ole Miss. Cody majored in Managerial Finance and graduated in the spring of 2016. Cody’s greatest catch of his career is getting engaged to his fiance Brooke Theobald. Cody is also a practicing Christian.
Fun Fact about Cody: Cody believes he is interesting. Also, Cody loves wearing Lululemon, and hopes to be sponsored by them one day.
Channing Ward - Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Defensive Lineman
Channing is currently a free agent in the NFL after battling some injuries to start the 2018 season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. On October 10, 2016 Channing started on Monday Night Football. As a Buccaneer Channing played in 5 games and had 5 tackles. Channing Ward played in all 52 games in his 4 year career as an Ole Miss Rebel. In 2014 Channing finished tied for second in the SEC and 24th in the nation with 3 forced fumbles. One of the most memorable forced fumbles of Channing’s career was against Alabama in 2014 on Special Teams. While a Rebel, Channing totaled 110 tackles, 6.5 sacks for 43 yards, 13 tackles for loss and 6 forced fumbles. Channing was highly recruited out of high school; he has offers from everywhere, but stood firm with Coach Freeze and his staff during the coaching change in the winter of 2012. Channing was a member of the Dandy Dozen and was ranked a 5 star recruit. He also was rated the number 5 defensive end in his high school class.
Fun Fact about Channing: Channing likes to paint during his free time.
Senquez Golson - Former Pittsburgh Steelers - Defensive Back
Senquez is currently a Free Agent. It is fair enough to say that whoever is able to land Golson will be a very lucky team. Senquez had a 2 year stint with the Pittsburg Steelers, but did not see action the past few seasons due to injury. Once released from the Steelers Senquez was acquired by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. After high school Senquez was selected in the 8th round of the MLB Draft by the Boston Redsox as a center fielder, but instead of turning pro he decided to play football for the Rebels. Senquez was a major contributor to the Landshark Defense while spending his time in Oxford, MS. At the end of the 2014 season Golson was named First Team All American. While at Ole Miss he recorded 16 interceptions which is tied for 3rd overall in Ole Miss history. He is also tied at number one in school history for total interceptions in a single season having 10 interceptions in the fall of 2014. Senquez totaled 136 tackles in his career at Ole Miss with 15 passes broken up. Golson loves giving back to the youth and helping out in his respected community. Senquez is from Pascagoula, MS and graduated from Pascagoula High School. Golson is also a practicing Christian.
Fun Fact about Senquez: Senquez has an American dog with an “American Gangsta” name. Senquez also enjoys playing badminton.
Ryan Buchanan - Ole Miss - Quarterback
Ryan graduated from Jackson Prep in 2012 and was an Ole Miss quarterback from 2013-2015.
Will Martin - Linebacker - Ole Miss 2010-2013
Will Martin was a 2 year Letterman for the Ole Miss Rebels after transferring from Southern Miss University. For those 2 seasons Will started on all cover units for special teams and saw action as a linebacker for the Rebels. As a Rebel, Will recorded 17 tackles. Before the 2013 season Will received a scholarship from Coach Freeze for his senior season. Martin is from Madison, MS and graduated from Madison Central High School. In the falls of 2016 and 2017 Will has coached a youth football team. He really enjoys working with the youth and giving back to the community. Will Martin and his wife, Cameron, reside in Madison, MS while they raise their daughter, Mae. Will works for Service Specialists, LTD and is a practicing Christian.
Fun Fact about Will: He thinks he is a great hunter.
Talbot Buys - Offensive Line, Ole Miss 2014-2016
You Gotta Believe Football Camp is honored to have Talbot Buys coach the offensive line. Talbot is from Vicksburg, MS and is a 3 year letterman at Ole Miss. Prior to Ole Miss, Talbot played at Holmes Community College for one year. Talbot is a graduate of Porters Chapel Academy. Talbot now resides in Vicksburg, MS and works for Hennessey, Thames, & Leavitt Insurance Agency.
Charlie Scott: - Fullback / Tightend - Ole Miss 2011-2014
Charlie Scott is a 2 year letterman as an Ole Miss Rebel. As an Ole Miss Rebel Scott participated in 3 bowl games, winning 2 of the 3. Charlie walked-on the Ole Miss Football team after graduating from St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in Jackson, MS. In high school Charlie was a standout player earning Metro Player of the Year honors as a senior after rushing for 2,043 yards and 22 touchdowns. Scott also played linebacker and posted 92 tackles as a senior. Scott was named to The Clarion-Ledger All Metro team as a senior. While at Ole Miss Charlie majored in Managerial Finance and was a Honor Roll student consistently. Upon graduation Scott moved to Houston, TX and is currently working for a real estate firm. Charlie is also a practicing Christian.
Fun Fact about Charlie: Charlie’s sister is more athletic than him.
Jordan Holder - Wide Receiver - Ole Miss 2009-2013
Holder graduated from Sylva Bay Academy in Bay Springs, MS in 2009. Upon graduation Jordan walked on the Ole Miss Football team. While at Ole Miss he worked extremely hard and was granted a scholarship for his senior season, but instead of accepting the scholarship he gave it to a teammate so the teammate could afford to graduate. He was a 3 year letterman while at Ole Miss recording 15 catches for 128 yards and 5 punt returns for 21 yards. Holder won the Bennie Abram Award which is given to a walk on who exemplifies a student-athlete of good moral character on and off the field while maintaining an exceptional grade point average. Holder now lives in Bay Springs, MS and works for Hol-Mac Corporation.
Fun Fact about Jordan: Jordan is the least fun / interesting person in the world.
Will Denny - Long Snapper - Ole Miss 2010-2014
Will Denny served as the long snapper for the Ole Miss Rebels. Denny is a 4 year letter winner for the Ole Miss Football team. Denny was extremely consistent while serving as the long snapper and also recorded tackles during punt coverage. Will snapped the game winning field goal verse LSU in 2013. Denny now lives in Oxford, MS and enjoys giving back to the youth in any way possible.
Fun Fact about Will: Will is a turkeys worst nightmare.
Andrew Ritter - Kicker - Ole Miss 2009-2013
Andrew Ritter was a 4 year letterman for the Ole Miss Rebels. While at Ole Miss many remember Andrew for the game winning kick against #6 LSU in the fall of 2013. He was a 4 year starter handling all of the kick off duties and also field goal duties at times in his career. While at Ole Miss Andrew obtained a Business Degree in Managerial Finance and before his eligibility was expired as a football player he also received his Masters in Business Administration. Andrew is from Jackson, MS and graduated from Jackson Academy. He is now married to the former Haleigh Huddleston and they reside in Jackson, MS. Currently Andrew is working for Southern Ag Credit in Ridgeland, MS and as a side job he is the color commentator for Jackson Academy’s football program. Andrew and Haleigh are also practicing Christians.
Fun Fact about Andrew: Andrew’s dog, Bru, can jump further than the Olympic Long Jump Gold Medalist.
Nathan Noble - Kicker - Ole Miss 2012 – 2016
Nathan Noble is a 4 year letter winner for the Ole Miss Rebels. He handled all the kickoff duties while at Ole Miss. Noble played in 37 games, and kicked the ball off 229 times averaging 63.4 yards per kickoff. He recorded a total of 108 touchbacks. Nathan was also a Semifinalist for the Campbell Trophy, which is the most prestigious and desirable academic award in all of college football. Even though Noble did not play regularly on defense, he did record 5 total tackles while being an Ole Miss Rebel. While being a football player at Ole Miss Nathan graduated early and received a MBA while playing his last year of football. Noble is from Greenville, MS and graduated from Washington School.
Fun Fact about Nathan: Nathan believes he is the best ping pong player in Ole Miss Football history…but this is questionable.
Sean Rawlings - Ole Miss - Offensive Line
Sean is from Madison, Mississippi and graduated from Madison Ridgeland Academy. Rawlings played in 43 games while being a Rebel and was the rock of the offensive line. Sean was one of the most versatile linemen and was able to line up at any position on the offensive line. In 2019, Sean played in the East-West Shrine, in 2018 he was a Rimington Trophy Watch List nominee and in 2018 Rawlings was a Campbell Trophy Semifinalist. While at Ole Miss, Rawlings majored in Business marketing and was named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll each year while a student athlete. In 2016 Sean participated in a spring break mission trip to Haiti. Sean is a Christian and we are very excited to have him join the YGB Family!
